Go through your resume and your application form
It is important to be completely familiar with your resume and application. You will be asked questions that are directly related to the information in these documents. Identify any areas that require further explanation and be ready with good explanations.

Practice and prepare
Review the typical job interview questions and practice your answers. Your answers should also emphasize the skills that are most important to the employer and relevant to the position. Be sure to review the job listing, make a list of the requirements, match them to your experience, and make a good impression on your interviewer.

Be on time
On-time means five to ten minutes early. If needed, go to the interview location beforehand so you can exactly know where you are going to go and how long it will take to get there. Also, give yourself a few extra minutes to go to the restroom, check your outfit, and calm your nerves.

Collate workplace evidence
Put together a portfolio of workplace evidence such as spreadsheets, charts, and documents that can be valuable in persuading the employer of your skills.

Communicate with confidence
Your communication skill will be closely evaluated throughout the interview. Accounting job does not just require numerical skill, but it also demands a good communicator who can effectively engage with clients and colleagues and build good relationships.
