The Signing of the Agreement by Accounting President University with ICAEW

Faculty of Business at President University (PresUniv) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW). The signing ceremony was held at the Charles Himawan Auditorium, President University, Thursday (14/7/2022).

The event was attended by Maria Jacinta Arquisola, BA, MHRM, Ph.D. as the Dean of the Faculty of Business, Mila A. Reyes, BSBA, CPA, MBA as the Head of Accounting Study Program, as well as several other lecturers. Meanwhile, from ICAEW were Conny Siahaan as the Head of Indonesia at ICAEW, Dames Maharani as the Business Development Manager, and Seno Wahyudi as the Business Development Support.

The MoU was signed directly by Jacinta, who represented President University's Faculty of Business, and Conny, who represented ICAEW. Jacinta said that this collaboration was in accordance with the HR development agenda at the Faculty of Business. Namely, ensuring that students are prepared for global leadership and pursue their careers professionally.

Jacinta hopes that after graduating, students will not only work in Indonesia but also abroad. One way is through this ICAEW. Mila emphasizes the importance of certification to make graduates and students different from others. Representing ICAEW, Conny said the signing was essential to help students build the accounting and finance professions in Indonesia.

"I hope this collaboration will become a means for exchanging information, building capacity, and providing support for President University students who want to be part of ICAEW," said Conny.
