Cheerleading (cheers) is a sport that can be said to be quite complex, because it includes various kinds of movements, like gymnastics and acrobatics. The purpose of cheers is not only for sports but also as we know, to support. And personally, cheers is one sport that can help us build skills of cooperation, collaboration, and kinship too. Cheers, I guess you could say that it’s difficult and yet at the same time it’s not difficult, huh. It is hard because yes, it brings together twenty people with different thoughts and traits. But because we've been doing everything from the start together under the same goal, it's nice to feel every emotion together. Incidentally, the bond of the team will get stronger every day.
But because we've been doing everything from the start together under the same goal, it's nice to feel every emotion together. Incidentally, the bond of the team will get stronger every day. According to the people about Accounting Cheers :
Annisa Ananta Syahrena (Captain of Cheers 2020)
The minimum or maximum of our performance results depends on our efforts as well. The effort will not betray the results, right? Even if the time is short but we do maximum training, I'm sure it will be good, it's the same if we practice for a long time, for months but the training isn't serious. We won’t get good results either. As long as we are willing and ready to take responsibility, anyone can join the cheers team. Usually, we prioritize those who are experienced first, but it is also possible for the first-timers to try to join our forces. Don't be afraid to enter cheers, it's really exciting and not as scary as you imagine. Don't be afraid to try new things, so that you gain experience too. DON'T FORGET TO SIGN UP FOR CHEERS YES, GO GO LEON ✌
Adelya Budi Purwaningtias (Vice Captain of Cheers 2020)
The main goal of cheers is to cheer up the mood of the crowd, right? But actually, cheerleading is also included in the sport which leans more towards gymnastics. If cheers are different from other extracurricular, it’s because cheers are more focused on competitions in SOPU, which is usually around April, so the cheers team has started practicing for about six months before, starting in November. In cheers, we learn the basics of gymnastic cheers, like split/jump or something else, the point is that it helps our elasticity. Then we also learn to make a pyramid, with ten guys and ten girls, especially those who join the cheers squad and are new to the environment because most of them don't know about cheers yet. We also include dance and cheers ACC to win the best dance in 2019.
Muthiah Putri Syafirah (Chairperson PUMA ACC, and member of Cheers 2020)
Cheers is more of a place where we can feel the word "team" continues to make me and the others realize that it is more than just a word. So being a part of the cheers squad opened our eyes, we understand each other, the nature of each member too, so from there as time goes by, we can feel each other's feelings, if one of us is happy then everyone else is happy, if there is something sad then we are all sad, but of course, most of the feel is mostly happy because when else do you feel like having a family in campus? Cheers anyway!
From cheers, we also learn about cooperation, controlling our egos, learn how to deal with problems calmly, but for those who do sports, it's useful, it's guaranteed for you to be in good shape right away👍🏻 even myself after cheers are finished, I still often work out by myself like in practice at home. At the beginning of practice sessions, there was a warm-up together, so it was a shame if it didn't continue, then the last thing I got from the cheers was that we aren’t alone, many people around us are ready to listen to our complaints and stories, they would listen and give solutions.
