Sport Olympiad President University (SOPU) is an annual event hosted by the President University Student Union (PUSU). This event is one of the festive events in the President University and attended by students from all majors both regular and extension classes, staff dormitories, also campus’s staffs.
SOPU 2020 was held on March 9 th to April 4 th , 2020. There are 15 kind sports that was competed, such as Badminton, Dota, PUBG, Mobile Legend, PES, Table Tennis, Volleyball, Basketball, Swimming, Golf, Tug of War, Futsal, Chess, Billiard, and Relay Race.
This event consists of sports game that is physical sport and e-sport. In addition, there is also the best supporters and cheerleaders. All majors and staff prepare their athletes to compete. The winner will receive a medal according to their achievement. Each point will be calculated to determine the general winner. This year, accounting participated in the SOPU 2020 with renewed hope and enthusiasm to provide the best for accounting.
However, due to corona outbreak SOPU 2020 only had a chance to run for about one week. During a week, Accounting has won first place in Table Tennis for the Single Women's, and Mix Double categories. Thanks to all Accounting family who participate and support our athletes during this event.

Cheers is a sport event held in SOPU. Cheers is one of the most awaited events and always appears on the last day of SOPU followed by the SOPU champions’ announcement event.
Cheers Accounting been training for about 6 months (November-April). The squad learn basic cheers gymnastics and make pyramids and also several skills, including soft skills (such as skills to adapt the new environment and a new team, how to appreciate time, teamwork, etc.). It is a good opportunity for the new freshmen who want to gain their experience and learn more about how to adapt social life.
But it is very unfortunate because the SOPU 2020 doesn’t complete due to the presence of pandemic Covid-19 occurred in Indonesia. So, SOPU activity was terminated by the college. We thank the Squad for training and working hard all this time.

Previously, I would like to thank the 2020 squad, the previous squad, the PUMA Acc and the entire Acc family who supported me and the squad. There is a hard and happy feeling that I feel as the captain of the squad this year. the fun part is that I was entrusted to be the captain and continue to join the squad again this year. From Cheers, I learned many things that I might not be able to get out there. as a captain must know how to lead well and I realize sometimes the way I take is wrong, but from there I learn to always improve myself and become an open minded person by not only looking at one side only.
The sad part is that this year, the 2020 squad was supposed to perform at SOPU, but due to impossible circumstances it was canceled. my feelings at that time were sad, upset, disappointed, mixed because we felt what we prepared and fought for 6 months felt in vain starting from the concept (pyramid, stunts, and dance), clothes, training every day. But after I thought during this quarantine, I felt there was no harm in being disappointed and upset because it was a natural thing and the thought emerged. Whatever I have done so far should not be wasted in vain because even the smallest thing can be used as learning and experience that will be always remembered until old age. And maybe this has become His will so that the 2020 squad can better prepare for SOPU 2021 later.
My message for the next squad, I thank the previous squad members and who will be the next squad. I hope you will continue to contribute to Accounting, because if not you, who else? Be a solid squad, don't want to lose to the previous squad. show that you're better than before. Don't feel burdened by cheers. Make this learning and valuable experience for you, live these cheers with pleasure and you will not feel burdened to be the best in your squad, create your hopes and make it real! There are many advantages when we join Accounting Cheers. When I was in the squad, I learned a lot of things. Patience, time management, responsibility. When I was vice-captain, I learned how to teach others, eliminate perfectionism, reduce ego, and always have to think positively. This squad consists of 20 people. If one person is absent, not all exercises can be applied. The most fun thing when we were in the squad is when we were required to be creative, such as the process of making songs, looking for concepts, making choreography, clothing designs and others. However, we were still assisted by our seniors and other Accounting friends to make this squad successful. Without their help, maybe I and the other squad members will go crazy. I hope the next squad is better than this year because we already know how the process that we have been done so far. Don't forget about preparation. And Don't Forget the 3 Magic Words "Please, Thank You, and Sorry”. Fighting!

sopu preparation
Sultan Bishri, as the Project Manager of SOPU Preparation 2020 said that the preparation is already done 3-4 months before SOPU. Accounting usually hold an event that is lowered (Battle of Accounting) to prepare students for the Accounting SOPU participation’s event. This is where the PIC Banting Branch Sports see the potential off athletes and choose who will be designated to represent SOPU Accounting at the event. In addition to physical preparation, all the Accounting students make a donation for registration and consumption during SOPU activities later.
Last year Accounting won a gold medal in the sport of Badminton (Double Woman), Chess, DOTA, and PES; silver medal for Basketball (Male) and Futsal (Female); and a bronze medal in the sport of Golf. For the Cheers section, Accounting won the Best Yelling and Best Dance awards. We hope accounting will get the best results at SOPU 2020.

Unity night is one of PUMA Accounting events that held to announce the winners of BANTING and announce the PIC of games that have been selected for the SOPU Preparation of Accounting.
PUMA FAREWELL
PUMA Farewell is an event created for all of PUMA Accounting’s members which aims to appreciate all the hard work and contribution from all members in PUMA Accounting for one period.
WELCOMING DAY
The main idea of Welcoming Day is to introduce deeply about Accounting family

SENIOR FAREWELL
This event will be held for 2 days. Acc Awards is the new event in PUMA Accounting that will held in 2020 and this event appears to appreciate the Accounting Students from batch 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2020.
Senior Farewell is dedicated for Accounting senior batch 2016 that already graduated to appreciate their hard work and also thank them for giving their effort in Accounting family.
ACC CAMP
Accounting Camp is the annual event that created for new batch to know more about Accounting. Also, this event will bond their own batch deeply through the fun way.
This event is obligated for new students in Accounting. Because in 2020 this cannot be carried out, this event is postponed to 2021.
PUMA GATHERING
PUMA Gathering is created in aim to bond with members of PUMA Accounting
before start to work together for one period.
Battle of Accounting
BANTING is a sport competition between Accounting students and to bond the relation between students at Accounting. This also be the opportunity to look and prepare the
Accounting athletes for SOPU.
PUMA Leadership Training
PMLT is one of the requirements to be part of PUMA Accounting. It aims to develop leadership and build characteristic of the participants.
The last one is the Social Community division which organizes sporting events as well as social
activities such as Social Services, Iftar Together. their event is also not less exciting!
Accounting Project
This event aims to increase the empathy of Accounting student to those unfortunate
people. For 2020, the Accounting Project conducted donations in June through
Kitabisa.com. The donation was in the form of APD and were distributed to several
hospitals in Jabodetabek area.

Accounting Sport Day
PUASD is one of the biggest sports competition in Accounting. This event available for Senior High School in JABODETABEK and JABABEKA area.
Business Cup
BUSCUP is a sport competition between 4 majors in Faculty of Business. The purposes
are to tighten up relations between majors in Faculty of Business and respect towards
each other. Also, to assure the athletes for SOPU. BUSCUP already held in February
with Management as the Host.
